Paragon Health Services Recognizes World Mental Health Day – October 10

Let’s commit to treating mental health with the same openness and compassion as physical health. Together, we can help reduce stigma, support recovery, and foster communities where everyone has the chance to live well.
World Mental Health Day- Paragon Health Services

Each year, World Mental Health Day reminds us of the importance of caring for our mental well-being and supporting one another. This year’s theme highlights the need to promote awareness, reduce stigma, and encourage open conversations around mental health.

Recognizing Mental Health Day at Paragon

At Paragon Health Services, we believe that mental health is not just an abstract concept — it’s a key pillar in living well. On October 10, we join the global community in honoring World Mental Health Day and reaffirming our commitment to support individuals and families on their wellness journeys.

We know mental health challenges affect people of all ages and backgrounds. At Paragon, we offer services including:

These programs are designed to empower people to manage conditions like depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and co-occurring substance use — offering holistic, person-centered care in the Baltimore area.

At Paragon, “living well” means more than symptom management. It means:

  • Collaborating with clients as active participants in their care
  • Developing tailored treatment plans that align with individual goals
  • Supporting integration into the community, not isolation
  • Offering care across the lifespan — for children, adolescents, and adults
  • Addressing co-occurring disorders, such as mental health and substance use, with evidence-based approaches

Because we view wellness as holistic, we aim to support not only the mind but also daily functioning, relationships, and quality of life.

Recognizing Days like Mental Health Awareness Day helps us & our Community

  • Raise Awareness & Reduce Stigma – Many people hesitate to talk openly about mental health needs. World Mental Health Day gives us an opportunity to break silence and show that seeking help is a strength, not a weakness.
  • Encourages conversations – Whether among friends, families, or in the workplace, open dialogue helps people feel less alone and more understood.
  • Promotes Access to Care – Awareness should lead to action. We want more people to know what services are available and how to access them.
